Wind and its causes

Wind is the flow of air in a horizontal direction. On Earth, wind is a stream of air that moves mostly in the horizontal direction on other planets, it is the flow characteristic of these planets atmospheric gases. The strongest winds are observed in the solar system, Neptune and Saturn. The solar wind is a stream of gases discharged from the star and planetary wind is a stream of gases responsible for the outgassing of the planetary atmosphere into space. Winds are generally classified according to the scale, s (speed) and types of forces, places the spread and impact on the environment. In meteorology, wind is classified into different types, primarily for their strength, duration, and direction from which the wind blows. So, the impulses are considered to be short (several seconds) and strong air movement. Strong winds average duration (about 1 minute) are called squalls. Names longer depend on the wind strength and s, for example, such names are breeze, storm, hurricane, and typhoon. The duration of different types of wind also varies greatly: some storms can last several minutes, a breeze, which depends on the difference between the heating characteristics of the relief during the day, lasting several hours, global winds, caused by seasonal changes in temperature - monsoons - have a duration of several months. Monsoons and trade winds are the winds that make up the general and local circulation of the atmosphere. The winds always influenced human civilization. They are inspired by mythological stories, influenced by historical events, expanded range of trade and cultural development and war, supplying the energy for a variety of mechanisms of energy production and recreation. The balloons, which are also moved by the wind, for the first time allowed going on air travel, and modern aircraft, use the wind to increase the lift, s and fuel economy. However, the winds of various types may be unsafe, so the gradient wind fluctuations can cause loss of control over the aircraft, fast winds and big waves caused by them, in large bodies of water often leads to destruction of the piece of buildings, and in some cases the winds are able to increase the scale of fire. Winds may also affect the formation of the relief, causing the Aeolian deposits, which form different types of soils (e.g. forests) or erosion. They can carry sand and dust from deserts to large distances. Winds spread the seeds and help the movement of flying animals, which lead to the expansion of the new territory. Conditions associated with the wind in various ways affect the wildlife. Wind is the result of uneven distribution of atmospheric pressure and is directed from the zone of high pressure to low pressure zone. Wind s and direction are constantly changing due to continuous changes in pressure over time and space.
